Dr. Michael Hawkins earned his BS degree at BYU in 2000. In 2007, he graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in Pomona, California. He practiced for a year in Southern California before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah where he has been practicing for the past 9 years. His interests include small animal dentistry, soft tissue surgery, parasitology and internal medicine. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and their 5 children. They also have an over-enthusiastic Bull-Hound named Bruno who always has to be the center of attention. In his spare time, Dr. Hawkins can be found doing crossword puzzles, reading or playing video games. He especially enjoys getting outside and playing soccer and basketball, biking, camping and hiking.
