Meet Dr. Highfill – Veterinarian From the time she was just four years old, Dr. Highfill knew she was destined to become a veterinarian. With eight years of experience in the field, she’s turned that childhood dream into a meaningful career built on compassion, knowledge, and dedication.

Her favorite part of the job? Witnessing the heartwarming moment when pets are reunited with their families after hospitalization—a reminder of why she chose this path in the first place. She has a particular passion for dermatology and geriatric care, always striving to help pets of all ages live their healthiest lives.

At home, Dr. Highfill enjoys the company of Cricket, a sweet Boxer mix, and her two charming orange cats, Bingus and Jurgen. Outside the clinic, you'll likely find her with a coffee in hand, diving into a good book, brushing up on her painting skills, or tackling her next home improvement project.

If she could choose a superpower, she’d pick X-ray vision—a perfect match for a veterinarian always aiming to see what others can’t. Her favorite animals are cats, whose soothing purrs she finds incredibly calming.

The best advice she’s ever received? “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” And one thing she wishes all clients knew: Veterinarians carry your pets in their hearts long after the clinic doors close.

If she hadn’t become a vet, she’d be happily immersed in the cozy comforts of a bakery/coffee shop/bookstore—a dream that blends creativity, community, and caffeine. But in her eyes, her greatest accomplishments are becoming a veterinarian and marrying Ethan, her best friend and one of her biggest supporters.
